CONGRATULATIONS ON A SUCCESSFUL EVENING AT THE INAUGURAL TIGER INVITATIONAL!  ​

Monday - Fall Concert* in the cafeteria, call time is 6:00p for students - Performances begin at 6:30p

*This concert will feature Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz I, & Jazz II.  All students in the band program are required to attend (there is no make up for a missed performance).  Parents and friends are encouraged to attend this free performance.  Students should plan on wearing "dress" clothing (no jeans, no t-shirts, no shorts).  Concert Black attire will not be worn until our Winter Concert in December.

Tuesday - Indoor Percussion Interest Meeting, 7:00p in the band room

Wednesday - Full Band Composite Photo, call time is 8:00am*; Senior Band Photo Shoot, 3:30p

*Students will need to be dressed in full Patriot uniform (band room opens at 7:30a)
*Attendance is required, and we will be finished by 8:40a (maybe earlier)


Thursday - Marching Rehearsal, 5:00-7:00p

Friday - Away vs. Washington, call time is 4:45p


Looking ahead
Tuesday (November 9th) - Santa Rosa All-County Band Auditions, time is TBA at Milton HS
Thursday (November 11th) - Milton Veteran's Day Parade Performance, call time is 8:00a at Milton HS (this is for ALL marching band members) - there is no school on this day

Pace Band students are encouraged to participate in our Waffle House Pie Fundraiser!  $5 from every pie sold goes back into your band account!

 - ALL Winds Rehearsal, 3:30-4:30p; Pace Percussion Spirit Night at Jimmy Johns, 4:00-8:0p

Tuesday - Symphonic Band FULL Rehearsal, 3:30-4:30p;  Marching Rehearsal, 6:00-9:00p

Wednesday - Indian River Citrus Fundraiser Orders are DUE (online submission); Wind Ensemble FULL Rehearsal, 3:30-4:30p

Thursday - Rehearsal, 5:00-9:00p; "Trunk or Treat" in the parking lot, 9:00-10:00p (wear a costume!!

Friday - Home vs. Milton, call time is 6:00p (Avalon Middle School Night)


Saturday - Tiger Invitational performance at Pensacola High School, call time for visual rehearsal will be 2:30p (checkouts for this event need to be received no later than Thursday morning)

Tuesday - Santa Rosa County Marching Exhibition performance* at Gulf Breeze High School, call time is 4:00p in the band room.  The event begins at 6:30p and we are expected to return back to Pace around 9:30p.

*This is a mandatory performance for all marching band students.  At this event, all bands from Santa Rosa County will perform for each other in a non-competitive environment.  Parents, friends, and alumni are encouraged to attend this free event!

Thursday - Rehearsal, 5:00-9:00p

Friday - Away vs. Crestview, call time is 4:00p


Saturday - South Alabama Marching Championships at The University of South Alabama in Mobile, call time for visual rehearsal will be 11:15am (checkouts for this event need to be received no later than Thursday morning)

It was great to perform once again at our annual Marching Music Performance Assessment in Fort Walton Beach yesterday. 

​Congratulations to the Pride of the Red, White, and Blue for earning all Superior ratings on their performance!


Monday - Brass Rehearsal, 3:30-4:30p; JEN Induction Ceremony, 6:00p in the band room; Percussion Spirit Night at Santino's 

Tuesday - Jazz 1 Rhythm & Soloists sectional, 3:30-4:30p;  Band Booster Meeting, 6:00p;  Rehearsal, 6:00-9:00p

Wednesday - Open Lesson Time Slots

Thursday - Rehearsal, 5:00-9:00p

Friday - Home vs. Navarre, call time is 6:00p


Saturday - Rehearsal, 9:00a-1:00p

Monday - WW Rehearsal, 3:30-4:30p 

Tuesday - Jazz 1 Brass sectional, 3:30-4:30p;  Band Booster Meeting, 6:00p;  Rehearsal, 6:00-9:00p

Wednesday - JEN Induction Help Session, 3:30-4:15p; UWF Jazz Concert (optional), 7:30p

Thursday - Half Day for Students; call time for HOCO Parade is 3:30p at Pace Community Church - students will be dismissed AFTER the Community Pep Rally around 6:00p in the stadium (see email from last week for details); High School Fall Festival Party is from 9-10p (call time will be 8:30p for this optional performance)

Friday - No School;  Rehearsal, 2:00-4:30p (pizza dinner provided after rehearsal) Home vs. Quincy, call time is 6:00p*
*Students may not leave campus after the rehearsal - please bring everything you need for the game to the rehearsal that afternoon 


Saturday - Visual Rehearsal, 7:30a call time (bring everything you need for the performance that day);  Full Itinerary for this day is available below; Parents wishing to attend this performance will need to purchase a ticket at the Fort Walton Beach High School gate for $6 or $7

Our Marching Music Performance Assessment (MPA) is THIS Saturday, October 9th at Fort Walton Beach High School. 
  • This is a mandatory, adjudicated performance for all marching band students. 
  • Since the Homecoming Dance is ALSO that evening, we have requested the earliest performance time slot.  The MPA schedule & itinerary was posted on the website last week, and is also posted in the band hallway. 
  • As soon as the band has finished their performance, we will be loading busses and departing back to Pace High School.  All band students will still have the opportunity to attend the dance that evening. 
  • Please remember that any student who wish to be checked out after their MPA performance, instead of riding the buses back to the school, will need to email Mr. Denaro no later than Thursday, October 7th.

Open Private Lesson times are available before and after school.  Each band student is responsible for taking TWO private lessons each 9-weeks, and is a significant portion of their grade.  Please do not wait until the end of the nine weeks to complete this assignment.  This is 40% of your nine weeks grade.
