ednesday - Disney Trip Luggage/Medication Drop off, 3:30-5:00p*

*All STUDENTS traveling on the Disney Trip are required to drop off their luggage in the band room no later than 5:00p on this day.  Luggage should be clearly labeled with the student name (luggage tags provided - if needed).  Chaperones are NOT required to drop off their luggage a day early.

Also, please be aware that all times are subject to change at any point during the trip.  Any adjustments to the schedule will be communicated to the chaperones, who will then communicate this information to all students.

Bus Lists are posted in the band hallway.

Santa Rosa All-County Band Auditions

Santa Rosa All-County Band Auditions are on this upcoming Monday, November 18th at Milton HS.  If a student is accepted to the band, they are expected to attend all All-County Band rehearsals, which will take place in January - see the CHARMS calendar.

**If you have a conflict, please plan on arriving early to audition anytime AFTER 4:45p

Tuesday - ALL CITRUS FUNDRAISER ORDERS AND MONEY ARE DUE

Thursday - Disney Parade Rehearsal, 5:00-7:00p (we are planning on being outside for the full rehearsal - dress appropriately)

Friday - Full Band Composite Photo (attendance is required for everyone in marching band) - students will need to be dressed in their FULL PATRIOT UNIFORM BY 8:15am - long hair will only need to be pulled back.  The photo will take place around 8:30am and we will be finished.

Saturday - "Jazz Hang" at Gulf Breeze High School from 10:00a-2:00p - This event is optional, however all jazz students are strongly encouraged to attend.

Veteran's Day Parade - Monday, November 11th

All marching band students will be performing in the annual Milton Veteran's Day Parade this upcoming Monday morning.  This is a required performance.

All students will need to find their own transportation to Milton HS.  Remember to take your MARCHING INSTRUMENT home after school on Friday - the band room will NOT be open on Monday morning.


Students will need to arrive on campus wearing their band t-shirt, black socks, and band shoes.  Everyone is responsible for transporting their own instrument EXCEPT for sousaphones and battery percussion.  Please leave all instrument cases in your car - not in the parking lot.

CALL TIME IN THE SOUTH PARKING LOT AT MILTON IS NO LATER THAN 8:15am.  Students will dress into their patriot uniform and will need to be ready to go by 8:30am.  

The parade begins at Milton HS and ends in downtown Milton.  Please plan accordingly since the parade ends in a different location.

At the conclusion of the parade, all band students will change out of their patriot uniform at the new location.  Once the uniform is hung up, students are free to depart.  Estimated time will be approximately 11:00am.

Please do not plan on returning to the Pace band room after the parade.  The band room will be closed until Tuesday morning.

Tuesday - Fall Concert & Chili Cook Off in the Pace HS Cafeteria, Concert Band call time is 6:00p, Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble call time is 6:30p

6:30p - Chili Tasting Begins
7:00p - Music Begins


Dress for students
Male - shirt with a collar and khaki pants or slacks; tie is optional - no jeans
Female - blouse with dress pants or a dress - no jeans

If you wish to enter the Chili Competition, please complete a form and submit the $10 registration fee.

If you wish to sample any of the chili in the cook off, we are asking for a $5 donation.  This gets you unlimited sampling access, a bowl to enjoy your favorite chili, and a bottle of water.

Thursday - Disney Parade Rehearsal, 3:30-5:00p; Airmen of Note concert at Saenger Theatre in Pensacola, 7:00p - this is optional, but encouraged!

Please note that all indoor percussion and indoor guard rehearsals/performances will not be listed on this weekly post, but can be found on the actual CHARMS calendar.  Any questions regarding these schedules should be directed to the appropriate Percussion/Guard director.
