There is not much happening this week since the directors will be attending the Florida Music Educators Association conference in Tampa, but everyone will need to take a moment to give the next few months of our band calendar a glance.
In the fall, we were managing primarily one single rehearsal schedule after regular school hours... marching band.
Starting with January's before/after school calendar, we are now managing rehearsals for the upcoming assessments and performances of two concert ensembles, two jazz ensembles, multiple Solo & Ensemble chamber ensembles, and three indoor ensembles, in addition to private lessons! It is a VERY busy time of year.

Monday - Jazz 1 Rhythm Section & Soloists, 3:30-4:45p (soloists 3:30-4:00p only)
Tuesday - Wind Ensemble Bass Clarinet/Bassoon/Bari Sax/Tuba Sectional, 3:30-5:00p; Band Booster Meeting, 6:00p in Band Room
Thursday - Band Booster Bingo Night, doors open at 5:30p

If you have a balance due on your band account, please continue to work towards making monthly payments - we have several upcoming fundraisers as well, so take advantage!
Those who made the Santa Rosa All-County Honor band are REQUIRED to attend the scheduled rehearsals - check the calendar for rehearsal dates.
Band students are strongly encouraged to sign up for a private lesson slot EARLY this 9 weeks, as they only need to complete one lesson, per ensemble class they are a part of.
Details regarding our upcoming Philadelphia/New York City Trip are coming soon!
